Warrior 2 or Virabhadrasana 2 is a a commonly practiced standing pose in hatha and vinyasa yoga. This practice introduces Warrior 2 and other foundational poses that flow from a similar stance or footprint. These poses can help to strengthen the legs and create mobility in the hips.
