Yin Yoga Practice for the Full Body

In this Yin practice we will work from the toes to the crown to care for the whole body. Intention of wholeness or appreciation for the vessel of the body will compliment this practice. Yin is a style of yoga where most poses are done closer to the ground and are held for extended periods of time (in this class about 1-5 minutes per pose), allowing gravity to work for you.

You might like to play some relaxing cello or “spa” music in the background as you practice.

Suggested Props: 1-2 Blankets, a Block (optional) and a Timer for savasana.

**This was filmed during the COVID-19 crisis in the US. I’m offering it as a free class, but would greatly appreciate it if you would pay it forward. Please, if you have the means, purchase a pass or a gift card from your local yoga studio. If you are unable to support your studio monetarily, please consider giving them a positive review, sharing a post or recommending their services to a friend.

This flow is designed for established yoga practitioners, but the slower pace and variations offered may make it accessible to beginner yogis. Practice only if you are fit to do so. Always choose the right level of challenge for you.
