Yin Practice for Runners

Take some time and give your legs some much needed TLC!  Throughout my half marathon preparations these are some of the Yin postures that helped me stay on track with training kept my legs happy.

Yin is a very slow and patient style of yoga.  On the surface it may appear easy or gentle, but the longer holds can be quite challenging.

I would recommend playing some soothing music in the background like cello or “spa” music.

This class was filmed during the COVID-19 crisis in the US.  It’s offered for free use, but in return I would ask that you share the love.  If you can, support your local studio by purchasing a pass or a gift card. If you unable to support your studio monetarily, please consider giving them a positive review, sharing a post or recommending their services to a friend.  Like many businesses in the service industry, yoga studios are being hit quite hard by this crisis.

This flow is designed for established yoga practitioners. Practice only if you are fit to do so. Always choose the right level of challenge for you.
