Melting Yin Practice

In this Melting Yin practice we will slowly and gently release into the poses. This series of poses is intended to create a cool and calming effect for the body and spirit. Yin is a style of yoga where most poses are done closer to the ground and are held for extended periods of time (in this class about 3 minutes per pose), allowing gravity to work for you.

You might like to play some relaxing cello or “spa” music in the background as you practice.

Suggested Props: 1-2 Blankets and a Timer for savasana.

**This was filmed during the COVID-19 crisis in the US. I’m offering it as a free class, but would greatly appreciate it if you would pay it forward. Please, if you have the means, purchase a pass or a gift card from your local yoga studio. If you are unable to support your studio monetarily, please consider giving them a positive review, sharing a post or recommending their services to a friend.

This class is intended for established yoga practitioners. Practice only if you are fit to do so. Always choose the right level of challenge for you.

  1. Thank you, Suzanne, for putting this session together. A Yin class was perfect! I know this is technically a free class but please deduct it off my pass. I am copying Bridget on this in case you cannot do that transaction from home (Hi Bridget!) Hope both of you are staying safe and sane! ~Mary
